We had a great time! Way fun to see everyone!!! My dad's brothers came and told all kinds of funny stories about my dad as a youngster!!! I am so glad we were there! Happy Birthday Dad!!

Porter's 8th grade Band Concert

Porter had his 8th grade band concert. He played 5 different instruments. He played guitar and multiple percusion instuments. The last number was a star wars medley and the band teacher had someone come out and have a light saber fight during the performance. It was kinda funny! He did relly good! He is a very talented kid!

For his birthday this year he wanted to get his buddies together and hang out. So first they went to Costa Vida for dinner then we ran over to the cheap theater for "Jack and Jill." After wards we came back to our house and they played video games for a bit. He had 7 friends with him, not including his brothers. It was a fun night!!

Porter's Birthday at home!!! 14 years old!!

 

Porter had a birthday!! It was on a Wednesday. All he wanted to do was go to Goodies for dinner with his family. It is a great sandwich shop in town. OK! He also thought he needed to go to mutual so we got some ice cream for when we got home.....He got together we some friends later on that week....

New Years!!!!

This year Grandma and Grandpa helped us with our 500 piece puzzle!! We actually finished it before midnight!!! 

Then...At midnight we had a silly string fight!!! It was fun!!! Really Fun!!

Christmas Eve!!!

We started a tradition a few years back. We have an empty manger that we put out at the beginning of December. All month long we put a piece of straw for every act of service we do. The more service we do the more straw.....When we read the Christmas story in the bible about Jesus is swaddling clothes being put in a manger, that is when we put our baby doll in our manger. This year Porter, Preston and Brody sang "Silent Night" with Porter playing the guitar. It was very nice. Except we had to say good bye to our little elf Buddy. He went back up to the North Pole!!! :)
