On April 7, 2014 My father passed away. That is maybe why I haven't posted in  a while. It was hard. It is hard. My dad was and is an amazing man. He is a perfect man. The week before he died I was with him at the hospital for the weekend. I am so lucky to have had those moments with him. He was mostly concerned with why I was there so late and how I need to be home with my boys. He told me over and over and over what a wonderful daughter I was and that he loved me. Who knows, maybe heaven was very close to him then that he knew that is exactly what I needed to hear. We had the most beautiful service. The room was packed. I love him and try and honor him daily.
