Always....

So last night Brody kept saying mom I want to read this book to you...I looked down and saw that it was a book that I had bought him a long time ago. It is about a mother and a son. The son is bit crazy and the son keeps asking his mother if she will love him and she says always. Brody read the whole book to me!!  I was touched!! He is such a good little reader!! I Love you Brody...Always!!

My Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 stick of butter crisco
2 eggs
1 t. baking soda
1T hot water
1 t vanilla
1 t salt
2 1/4 flour
1 bag milk chocolate chips or what ever you want.

Place sugars and crisco in mixer. Mix.... add eggs. Combine hot water and baking soda and stir. Pour that into butter with the eggs. Mix. Add the rest except chocolate chips. When well combined add chocolate chip. Preheat oven to 375. Use spoon to scoop dough onto cookie sheet. Cook for 9 min. Do not over cook!!!!  I love this recipe...Alot of the times I will use a cup white chocolate chips with a cup of milk chocolate... Yumo!! Enjoy!


Pizza dough!!!

We make home made pizza alot!! I usually make the dough in my bread maker. I found this recipe and love it!! So far the best!!!! Enjoy!!

1 cup warm water
2 1/4 t yeast
1 T honey (or sugar)
2 t salt
2 T oil
3 cup flour


Pour water in mixer sprinkle yeast on water and let stand for a few minutes. Add honey, salt, oil and flour and mix. Transfer to oiled bowl and get it rise till it is doubled. Roll out and enjoy!!!

Best Ever Coffee Cake

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 stick margarine, melted

DIRECTIONS:
In a large mixing bowl. combine oil, eggs, vanilla and milk together. In a medium bowl, blend together sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Combine egg mixture with flour mixture. Pour half the batter into a 9x13 pan. In a medium bowl, prepare streusel by combining brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of streusel on top of the batter. Top with remaining batter and then sprinkle the remaining streusel on top. Drizzle with melted margarine. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Makes 18-24 servings.

This coffee cake is so cinnamon-y and butter-y!
It's the BOMB!!
