Just so you know Porter is being his dad for Halloween. He has a sign on his chest that says "Hello my name is Ian" we had fun. We ran around and took pix!
We found the cutest spot today!!!! My boys loved running around by the little river and in the dirt!!! Aren't they cute? I think so! The funniest part of this afternoon is that Brody accidentally wore Preston's jeans so they would just fall down all the time!
Tonight our ward had a talent show. It was a lot of fun! Porter and his friend did "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" By Poison. Zander and Josh played the guitar and Porter sang! He did fabuloso! His cousins came to support him! So cute! He has so much courage. The kind I never had his age. I admire him for that! He did great!!!!!! I love ya Porter!
Every so often I'll have these redeeming moments through out the day that save my sanity when (this would be one of those moments) my 6 year old says...."mom what is Jesus gonna be for Halloween?" Melted my heart. OK. you are a keeper! Us as moms and sometimes dad's we are nothing but little errand runners and cleaner uppers but thank good ness we have those shining opportunities to see the sweetheart in them and why we love them!!!!!
Tonight was one of those nights that I have to tell! First at 4:00 p.m. Ian and I went to a wedding of one of our friends. It was outside at a park. She looked beautiful and I am so excited for her because she is a very kind person that really truely deserves happiness and I think she has it! It made me appreciate my marriage a lot. It also made me remember our wedding day!!!! After the wedding we went over to this guys house that Ian did some legal work for. He has wanted to have us over for a long time. His name is Sahid. He moved to America about 20 years ago for college and has stayed here. He is from Iran and still has family there. He made traditional food for us from Iran. A wonderful evening!! It is nice to have a little bit of culture!!!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!!
