The Priesthood!

Today at church Porter got the Priesthood from his daddy! It was a great day and experience! Grandpa and Grandma Johnson were there and so was Micah and Stephanie! There was a few tears from his daddy but that just means that he loves him and it means so much to him and me! Porter is 12 and growing up! He is such a good boy! We love him so much! He is the best example to his brothers and he cares! He has a HUGE heart!!!

Happy Birthday Porter

We had a fun day!! We went to Craigo's for dinner. We gave him cash for his birthday which is his favorite present these days! He was thrilled because his options were limitless to him at least!!! After a little shopping he wanted to go to Coldstone Creamery instead of a birthday cake! Fine by me! We played!!

Porter is number 7! They lost! It was 11 to 3!!! Oh well! But they tried hard and had fun!!!

Porter got some awards at a scout ceremony last night! He got his Tender Foot. He got it by doing a bunch of community service!

A Little Project

So I just finished this little project! It was with scrapbook paper and a lot of time on the computer choosing different fonts and ALOT of Mog Pog! FUN FUN!!!!! It was fun to do, so I thought I would share with you!!!!!

Tender Moment

So yesterday at church I had one of those moments. I definitely was proud as a mother. During the sacrament I often pull out my scriptures and randomly start reading. I looked over and saw that Porter was doing the same. I thought "wow" what a good boy! He then whispered in my ear, "Mom, do you know where I found this scripture?" Eagerly answered, "No, where?" He then replied, "Ghostbusters!" Oh well! At least it is in a positive direction!

Goals for 2010

Hey, if you write your goals down they are more likely to happen! So here I go!!!!

1. Get fit once again and stay fit!!!!!

2. Run either a marathon or another half.

3. Go on date with Ian once a week.

4. Be a kinder mother (less yelling more loving)

5. Do more things WITH my kids.

6. Be a kinder person

7. Be persistent in alllll things

That is it for now......maybe more later.

The key is persistence.

Ian's Grandparents

New Years Day we went up to "The Falls" :) to see Ian's grandparents and do a little shopping! We had a little package to deliver to them! It was fun! Grandma Johnson was chasing Brody down the hall of a retirement home! When do you see that?

We began the night by starting a difficult 500 piece puzzle!!!!

Then at midnight enjoys a little bit of apple bubbly and went back to the puzzle! We finished it! We also watch Travis Pastrana make his daring jump!!!!! The kids went to bed around 12:30 but Ian and I stayed up till 2:30 finishing the puzzle!!!!! Wild Times people, Wild Times!
