Match #1

 Porter pined this guy in 15 sec. I only had time to snap one photo! Shesh! But Yipppeee For Porter!

I thought this was cute! Three hommies stickin' together! Saturday (yesterday)He had this wrestling invitational in Twin Falls. It was fun. We stayed at a hotel with some friends went out to eat. The kids swam. We were at this high school from 8 am to 5 pm! UGH! Long Long time! After we were so tired we went out to eat and drove home. He were almost home when I realized I left my purse at the restaurant. So we had to drive back! UGH! We got home late and we were tired! Made for an interesting day! Ian wasn't even mad at me!!!! Thanks Ian!!!!!!

Match #2

This time Porter wasn't that lucky! But this guy he wrestled was a monster. Muscles...well look at him! He had another match after this one that I did not see that he lost as well! But over all he did awesome!

I am so thankful for all that I have........I am thankful for a supporting husband and that I have children that support each other!!!!!! I am so thankful for all that I have! Thak you!

Day #16 & 17

Yesterday was a busy busy day! So today I am combining! Today I am so very grateful for good movies and great books! A good book can help you in one way or another! Thank you!

Day #15

Today I am thankful for my appliances!!!! I am soooooo thankful for my dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. I am also very grateful for the smaller appliances like my dehydrator, toaster, Bosch and my microwave! We are so spoiled. We have everything at our fingertips to helps us do our daily chores. No stone at the river. No mile walk to the water well! No grinding stone for our corn meal! We are very fortunate people! Thank you for my stuff that makes my life easier!!!!! Sounds so lame but so true! Where would we be with out them!

Day #14

Today I am thankful for the day of REST!!!!! The Sabbath is some work and church was good but I was grateful to have had this afternoon to do NOTHING!!!!! Very restful. I took a nap, hung out with my kids and even watched Sarah Palin in Alaska! Thank you for the Rest!!!!!

Day # 13

Today I am thankful for the city of Pocatello. We have lived here for 7 years and we love every minute. It is a great place to raise a family. I have mountians in the east and west. I have great friends and so do my kids and the schools here so far have been great! We really love Pocatello! Thank you Pocatello!!!

Judo match #1

When Porter threw this guy he tried to defend against Porter and they thought he broke his ankle. Needless to say Porter finished the tournament undefeated. We think the guy is going to be fine.

Judo match #2

This match he dominated pretty fast! He had a wrestling match before this and after this! He won both match and got first place. He won in wrestling too! He left the house at 7:00 a.m. and got home at 10:00 p.m. He had a busy Day!!!!!

Day #12

Today I have been thinking all day what to write and after a few conversations I knew what to write.....I am thankful for those who love me unconditionally. I am grateful for those who care for me and help me along my road of life. I am grateful for family members and friends that help us with difficult decisions. Thank you friends and family, All of you!

Sorry about all the wrestling pix! That is all we do these days!!!!!! But he did great! He was so very happy. Tomorrow, Saturday he is in a judo and wrestling match! Shesh! A lot for any guy!

Day # 11

Well today is easy! I am thankful to be an American. I always have been. At the young age of 9 I knew how lucky I was to be an American. We were living in Mexico and  I remember going to the park where there was an ice cream stand with my parents weekly and seeing all the homeless poor people begging for money or food. There was this little girl that was always at the park that had these huge brown eye that would always smile at me and ask me for money. I would always ask my mom if we could take her home. Since then I have had the opportunity to visit a lot of places outside the USA and there is a comfort and a security that is instantly felt the minute you land on our soil. I could go on and on but for your sake (who ever you may be) I will not! :) But thank you to all those who have served in the military to preserve our freedom and to help those who do not have it! Today look at an American flag and think about what it means to YOU!!!

Day #10

Today I am thankful for laughter......As simple as it may seem. I woke up this morning not all too excited about the day. Brody was in the bathroom for a while and whistling. Yes he wakes up whistling. While on the toilet whistling he said, "Dad I think I have diary." We all just started laughing. (by the way he was fine) Made my morning and I started the day with a smile!!! I love that my kids make me laugh just when I need it! Thank you!

Today I am grateful for hobbies that keep me sane. This is a latest creation and it was fun!

Day #8

Today I am grateful for the resources I have around me....Let me explain........I have wonderful friends (some I consider family) I live in a wonderful community. My kids go to great school. I am grateful that Brody has angels (literally angels) at that school to help him through this rough year. I am so grateful for everyone around me. I belong to a wonderful ward. I know if I was in need at any time I know without a shadow of a doubt there would be plenty of people on my door step! Not many can say that but I can!!!!! I am so grateful! I am so blessed! Thank you!!!!!

Day #7

Today I am grateful for the Sabbath day! I am grateful for my Savior and we have a day of the week to rest and worship him. I am grateful for him and what he has done for me!!! Where would I be with out my Savior? Thank you!!!!

Day #6

Today I am thankful for a supportive family. This morning I woke up and felt like a truck hit me. I slept most the day and my family was great about it! They were quiet, they made a bed for me on the couch. Brody and I even watch three episodes of Cake Boss together and snuggled. I have a wonderful family. We work great as a team and for that I am thankful!!!

Day #5

Today is a no brainer.....I am thankful for my boys! The other day Brody crawled into bed with us early in the morning and felt I still had my earrings on. He said "mom you wore your earrings to bed.....you are so silly!" Moments like that make it all worth it!! Porter is a preteen with the complete package but a good boy! He has his head on right and knows what is right. Preston is a fun kid to be around funny and holy cow the energizer bunny!  Brody is slowly each day becoming less like my baby! He is learning so fast and doing so good in school! He had a rough start and hated school but now he is stronger and smarter and loving it!  I love you guys!!!

Day #4

Pure and simple...I am grateful for Ian! My husband, best friend and care taker! We balance out each other really good! I am proud of him and love him! He works hard for our family! Our boys think he is the coolest dad! I love you Ian! Thanks for allllllll you so!

More Wrestling

He had a match against Hawthorne middle school! He fought real hard but lost by a few points! The training is crazy for this sport. He has leaned out a lot! And....He is looking  more like a man every day!

Preston's Birthday!!! He is 10 years old!

 This one is my favorite! Pure joy!

This was on his actual b-day! He is having a party on Friday! I'm sure I'll have pix from that! We went to dinner as a family (to his favorite place) then opened his presents! He got some tech deck toys and a video game and a bunch of phone calls and a few cards!

Day #3

Today I am thankful for the sunshine today!!!!! One more day to wear sandals! One more day that the kids just need sweatshirts for school! That makes me happy!

Daily Thankfulness

Everyday till Thanksgiving I am going to state one thing that I am thankful for! I did this last year and I really benefited from it! (Sorry if it's annoying) So here I go again...........Since Today is November 2nd I am going to state 2 things today!
1. I am so grateful for Preston who was born 10 years ago. Who I love dearly and was very close to for the first four years of his life. He was tied to my hip literally.  He was a complete mommas boy and sometimes still is! Happy Birthday and I love you!
2. I am grateful that I love all my kids teachers this year. I am in Brody's Kindergarten class often and I have a great relationship with both! Porter seems to like his teachers a lot as well! Yeah!
