Day # 11

Well today is easy! I am thankful to be an American. I always have been. At the young age of 9 I knew how lucky I was to be an American. We were living in Mexico and  I remember going to the park where there was an ice cream stand with my parents weekly and seeing all the homeless poor people begging for money or food. There was this little girl that was always at the park that had these huge brown eye that would always smile at me and ask me for money. I would always ask my mom if we could take her home. Since then I have had the opportunity to visit a lot of places outside the USA and there is a comfort and a security that is instantly felt the minute you land on our soil. I could go on and on but for your sake (who ever you may be) I will not! :) But thank you to all those who have served in the military to preserve our freedom and to help those who do not have it! Today look at an American flag and think about what it means to YOU!!!
