Porter's Third Day Serving!

On Saturday our stake had a service project for the fire victims in our neighborhood. Ian and Porter went with about 2000 other men! Amazing experience for them. Then help clean up burnt belongings to one of the first homes to burn down. They came home 6 hours later dirtier than dirt. We had to hose them down outside before they went inside. They worked so hard and I for one am very proud of them!

They had a blast as you can see!!! It was cloudy most the day so we didn't set sunburned! Yeah! But it was a fun day!!!! 30 miles is very worth the drive for us!!!

All Star Baseball

Porter was selected to be on a ALL Star Baseball team. He loves it! This team is made up of all great players that want to be there!!! He had his first tournament this past weekend. They lost but it was also their first time playing as a team!!

Charlote Fire

We had a fire here that was about a mile away that burned acres and acres. It burned 66 homes down. Very scarey and very sad!!! We were lucky not to get into the flames. Unfortunately this happened on brody's birthday so his festivities had to wait while we waited to be evacuated. Luckily that never happened!
